A well-established and reputable employer is urgently hiringLicensed 310THeavy Truck Technician tojoin their growing team near Port Perry, Ontario. Mechanics will play a crucial role in conducting inspections, services, and repairs on a variety of Heavy-Duty Trucks and Trailers as well as Heavy Equipment in their Fleet.

Responsibilities:

Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to; maintenance, inspection, diagnosis, and repair of suspension, brake, and air systems on Tractors and Trailers. Fleet includes some Heavy Equipment as well for regular maintenance and repair. Mechanic will perform maintenance-related work as required while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Requirements:

• Valid 310T Truck and Coach Technician License is required
• Experience working on Commercial Trucks and heavy equipment.
• Heavy Equipment experience is a nice to have but not required.
• Self-motivated, organized and able to work independently
• A valid driver's license is required
• Knowledge of provincial Inspections
• Must possess own set of tools

Shift Schedule:

Days:

• 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM Monday - Friday (Flexible Start)
• Overtime available after 44 hours per week. Saturday hours available if requested but not mandatory.

Compensation:

• Licensed 310T: $45.00 – $52.00/hour, depending on previous experience/training/certificates
• Comprehensive benefits are offered including Medical/Dental after 6 months
• RRSP match after 6 months
• Annual Boot Allowance
• Uniform Weekly Service Provided
