Job Description

A well-established marine and environmental services company is seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join their team in Vancouver, Washington. This position involves operating cranes and other heavy equipment to support safe and efficient marine, dockside, and environmental operations. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, reliable, and experienced in working within an industrial or maritime setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate cranes, loaders, and other heavy equipment in compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks.
• Assist with barge loading/unloading, material handling, and environmental response activities.
• Follow all company, OSHA, and union safety protocols.
• Collaborate with crew members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating cranes or similar heavy equipment.
• Valid NCCCO or equivalent crane operator certification preferred.
• Strong safety record and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Maritime experience a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Wage: $33.94 – $45.05 (DOE, union scale).

Work Hours

• Tuesday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Saturday 7:00am - 3:00pm
• Overtime and weekend work may be required based on operational needs.
