Job Description

A successful repair and maintenance facility has an immediate opening for an experienced Diesel Truck Mechanic nearBuffalo, NYto work on its fleet of diesel trucks and trailers.

The company is looking for an experienced and preferably certified mechanic with at least 4+ years of relevant working experience on diesel trucks and trailers to perform a variety of diagnostics, repairs and maintenance.

To qualify for top level wages, technicians in possession of ASE certification will be given preference however, all are welcome to apply.

Qualifications:

• 2-5+ years of experience performing repairs on relevant diesel systems
• Knowledge and experience using diagnostic software's to assist with troubleshooting and repairs
• Strong verbal and documentation skills
• Experience performing DOT inspections

Responsibilities:

• Perform fleet repairs including but not limited to:
  • Preventative maintenances (oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication)
  • Diagnostics (Allison, Cummins, JPRO, Techtool, and Wabco available in shop)
  • ABS and braking system repairs
  • Hydraulic repairs
  • Light engine repairs
  • Light driveline repairs

Compensation:

• $30.00 - $40.00/hour plus 10 percent shift bonus

Shifts:

• 2nd shift: 3:00pm - 11:00pm Monday - Friday. 10 or more hours of OT available weekly!
