Job Description

A well-established company is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic for Field Service to join their team in the area south of Bozeman, MT. Technicians will be responsible for inspections, diagnostics, as well as repairs and maintenance on hydraulic and electrical systems.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience working on Heavy Equipment
• Preference for those with experience in the field
• Mechanics with CAT diagnostic experience will be given preference
• Ability to read and understand schematics is required
• Mechanics with strong capabilities in diesel engines, diagnostics, after treatments, electrical, and hydraulic systems will be required
• A positive work attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work both independently and as a team are required
• Completion of a personality test
• Welding is an asset
• Must have personal set of tools

Compensation:

• $40.00 - $55.00/hour

Shifts:

• Day Shifts, 7:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday
• OT after 40
• Lots of OT available 10+ hours per week during construction season

Mechanics will be required to have their own tools, as well as be required to submit to pre-employment checks prior to successful employment.
